The myQ opener is working fantastically. It opens and closes at a good speed. I love the ability to receive alerts when it opens and closes as well as being able to control the door from the app on my phone.

I have had the myQ Garage door opener system installed to my detached garage for several months. The motor, myQ Smartphone app and the entire system has operated faultlessly throughout this period. I couldn’t imagine getting by without it. The Technician responsible for the Merlin myQ installation was the most responsible and well mannered person I have come across. After installing Merlin Silentdrive Elite myQ to my roller door, getting in and out of the garage had been a lot easier and safer. I can either operate through the remote control or iPhone, set it to automatic closing after I opened. I can open or close the garage door away from home, and the safety beam makes sure there is no obstacles before closing. The only slight inconvenience is that the LED light is a bit dim. Overall, it’s a pleasure experience to use Merlin and I would definitely recommend it to my families and friends.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible service always provided. It is refreshing to find a company that understands and practices great customer service and not just say it! When I call, from time to time, with a query or question about my Merlin systems I am always treated with friendliness, courtesy and helpfulness. I had a few issues with replacing my old sensors on my garage gate system and I was provided tremendous help and expertise in solving the problems. This included recommending the correct four new sensors to replace the old models. I was able to purchase this directly, making this a very easy and seamless process. When I encountered a further problem trying to convert an old four wire sensor into the new two wire one, I had a number of issues with the gate operation and it working in the correct way. The team kindly analyse the issues and provided detailed feedback in how to rectify the problem. You emails have always been polite, constructive and incredibly helpful leading me to complete solutions to my problems, instead of courtesy emails with little help. You coaching and instructions far exceeded my customer service expectations and enabled me to have a complete and successful installation.

Merlin motors were recommended to us by our door installer and while we are happy with the motor, we were highly dissatisfied with the remotes. When this was flagged with the Merlin Customer Service Team they address this immediately - they are now working perfectly, every time. It is really heartening for consumers, when their feedback is heard and it is memorable, in our modern era, when a company responds so directly to that feedback. I am impressed. And yes, I will be recommending Merlin to anyone who wants to listen.
